On Hindenburgstraße in a central location in Mönchengladbach, a new building with around 1,400 m² of usable floor space is being created. Plans include 17 publicly subsidised apartments as well as a shared residential unit that caters to different housing needs. The building closes an urban gap along one of the city centre’s main axes and contributes to the sustainable upgrading of the neighbourhood. Its immediate proximity to shopping, doctors, schools and public transport creates modern, affordable housing in an urban setting.
