A new living space for young and old in Essen.

On the site of the former St. Michael church in the Südostviertel on Michaelstraße in Essen, a modern new building with around 5,800 m² of usable floor space is being created. The project combines a six-group day-care centre, 4 assisted-living shared communities, 41 service apartments and a day-care facility. The usage concept is complemented by a youth forum with a café and a retail unit on the ground floor, which — alongside the urgently needed care services for seniors — create additional meeting spaces for the neighbourhood.
