Foundation Stone Ceremony – Mannheim, Fahrgasse

A three-group day-care centre with around 700 sqm of usable space is taking shape on Fahrgasse in Mannheim-Sandhofen, operated by EKMA.

Project presentation | Day-care centre Mannheim-Sandhofen

New spaces for the youngest – and another building block for a future-proof social infrastructure.

On Fahrgasse in Mannheim-Sandhofen, commonreal is developing a modern three-group day-care centre. On a plot of around 1,400 sqm, some 700 sqm of usable floor space are being created, consistently geared to the needs of children, educational staff and the operator.

The new facility will be run by the Protestant Church of Mannheim (EKMA). The project is funded by the City of Mannheim.

From site development through planning to realisation, we pursue a single goal: to create a day-care centre that combines functional architecture, a high quality of stay and long-term usability.

Construction is visibly progressing – with the floor slab completed, the building is increasingly taking shape.

For commonreal, the project is emblematic of our ambition: not merely to develop real estate, but to create social infrastructure where it is needed.

We create living spaces for generations.
